Dear Sir or Madame:
It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume in consideration for a teaching position. I have a Bachelor of Education degree in Primary/Junior division from the University of Windsor, as well as successfully completing FSL level 1 AQ course. I am aware of the outstanding reputation of your school board in dealing with their students, parents and staff. As a highly compassionate and approachable teaching professional, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of your teaching team.
As a lifelong learner I am eager to offer the knowledge I have gained to current and future students. I am blessed with many great life experiences that are directly transferable to the teaching profession. For instance, I was given the opportunity to teach at the Ontario Police College by educating & assisting future police officers; as well as, owning and operating a successful business that has instilled a great work ethic I demonstrate today.
My French background has giving me rare opportunities thus far in my life, I am an advocate in differentiated instructions and inquiry based learning success. In this vein, I aim to give the students the tools and skills needed to promote self-worth and confidence, which is imperative to student success.
I was lucky enough to take part in many new and exciting activities within the school community during my practicums. I helped organize different events with student councils, and volunteered with multiple after school activities. I believe this is vital in building a strong school spirit and will continue to do so if giving the chance.
As a dedicated and passionate French teaching professional I would be overjoyed to work for your board and be an active participant in spreading my French roots to up and coming bilingual students. I would love to meet with you to discuss further how I could contribute to your outstanding school community. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application.
Kindest Regards,
Beau Dubois
